This Cookie Policy explains how Cultiv8 Club Limited (“Cultiv8”, “we”, “us”, “our”) uses cookies and similar technologies on our website. It supplements our Privacy Policy, which describes how we handle personal data more generally.
1. About this Cookie Policy
This policy applies only to the Cultiv8 website. Our mobile application does not use third-party advertising cookies, and we do not place advertising trackers in the app. By continuing to use our website, you accept the use of strictly necessary cookies described below. Other cookie categories (notably analytics) are only set with your explicit consent given through our cookie banner.
2. What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files placed on your device by the websites you visit. They are widely used to make websites work, to improve efficiency, and to provide information to the site operator. We also use closely related technologies such as local storage, session storage, and pixel tags, which we refer to collectively as “cookies” in this policy for simplicity.
Cookies can be first-party (set by Cultiv8) or third-party (set by service providers we use). They can also be session cookies (deleted when you close your browser) or persistent cookies (which remain until they expire or you delete them).
3. How we use cookies
3.1 Strictly necessary cookies
These cookies are essential for the website to function and cannot be switched off. They are usually set in response to actions you take, such as signing in, setting your privacy preferences, or filling in forms. Examples include:
- Authentication and session: keeping you signed in while you move between pages.
- Security: CSRF protection and abuse prevention.
- Consent state: remembering your cookie banner choices so we do not ask you again on every visit.
- Load balancing and routing: ensuring you reach the right server.
Because these cookies are necessary for the site to work, your consent is not required for them under the PDPO or PCPD guidance. You can block them through your browser, but parts of the site will not function.
3.2 Analytics cookies (consent required)
With your consent, we use analytics cookies to understand how visitors use the website in aggregate — which pages they visit, how long they stay, and where they encounter errors. This helps us improve the Service. Analytics data is processed in a pseudonymised form and is not used to advertise to you.
You can grant or withdraw your consent for analytics cookies at any time using the cookie banner or by clearing cookies from your browser.
4. Third-party cookies
Some functions on our website are provided by third parties, and those third parties may set their own cookies when you interact with their features. We work with the following categories of third parties:
- Stripe — for secure checkout. Stripe may set cookies necessary to process payments, prevent fraud and comply with payment-card-industry requirements. See Stripe’s own privacy and cookie notices for details.
- Sentry — for crash and performance diagnostics. Sentry may set technical identifiers used to group error reports.
- Analytics providers — only with your consent (see section 3.2).
We do not use cookies for cross-site advertising or behavioural ad targeting, and we do not share cookie-based data with advertising networks.
5. Managing your preferences
You can manage your cookie preferences at any time:
- Cookie banner. Use the cookie banner shown on your first visit to grant or refuse consent for non-essential cookies. You can reopen the banner from the link in the website footer to change your choice later.
- Browser settings. Most browsers let you view, delete and block cookies through their settings. See the help pages for Chrome, Safari, Firefox, and Edge.
- Do Not Track. We honour browser-level signals indicating that you do not want optional analytics cookies set.
Blocking strictly necessary cookies may prevent you from signing in or using key parts of the website.
6. Changes to this policy
We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time to reflect changes in technology, regulation, or our practices. The “Last Updated” date at the top of this page shows when the policy was most recently revised. Material changes will be notified through the cookie banner or another reasonable means.
